hi all my 1st post here so be nice , i got a Texan 46 size at the show i wont to cut some hatches in the fuselage for the plug and the switch my Q is what is the best way to do this i have a remote plug so i don't have to cut the cowling up i do have some cockpit hinges to make them open and close thanks

Best thing is to bring it to the field on Sunday or even the Club night next week. And get people to show / tell you want to do! "talk about it m8"

 

Remote glows are very easy to find, and you only have to cut a hole smaller than a 1p coin / about the size of a 5p coin, for the part were you put the glow starter on!

So you can have that around the bottom of the cowling somewhere!

 

Or like you said you can be a Pro and have it under a hatch or something like that, but that's alot of work and time!

Same also can be done with on / off switch's or charging months to!
