Her Klunk 0
I have designed or revised an old design for Bob cat with a .12 SC engine on the back. I will use an SC 12 start with a 7*4 prop mini servos *3 micro for throttle *1 Will have one servo for each aileron as this will be a small model flaperons are a must for a controlled landing. My previous Cat, dropped like a brick when the engine cut even with a built up wing. So with a few modifications to the rib profile and making the plane lighter target AUW 24ounces giving a wing loading of 12 to 14 ounces. As this is a small model weight is my enemy on the building board. So fuse 1/8 medium balsa, Ribs 1/32 medium, spars 1/8*1/4 and sheeting 1/16 and then the usual 1/4 * 1/4 tristock in fuse which will result in a similar look as my ECat and size as well and might even be a tad lighter. Oh and yes no under cart....who needs one just adds weight, drag and spoils the nice lines.... Pics to follow soon I hope maybe even this weekend.
