Images show the further work carried out. The going has got tougher but I have a result although not quite what I expected. The predicted weight of the model once the muffler has been constructed and fitted is now likely to be no less that 15Lb 12oz. So the model will be over weight for many flying sites limited to 15Lb 7oz/7Kg. Despite my best efforts, I cannot reduce weight any further so that is that. The model will not and cannot ever be flown at Fickleshole and alternative flying sites will have to be sought. Disappointing, but that is how it has panned out. There is only so much weight
