Steve,

You are probably well aware, but apparently the Micro's big brother has problems with the security of the elevon horns. Allegedly, they are only glued on over the paintwork and have a habit of coming adrift after a time.

Don't know if this applies to the 180 version. Advice is to replace the default horns with screwed / bolted ones using a backing plate.

I was very tempted by the larger size one after reading a review in RCM&E. So far I have resisted

No I was not :? , thanks for the info! errrk they are fast as well.............

I know that Horizon Hobby UK don't have any of the bigger ones in stock "most shop have been out stock, for a long time to". I was told that they would at the end month or so! Horizon are very good, when it come to fixing stuff as soon as they can.

So maybe the next lot well / have upgraded horns?
