YellowAlert 0
Bah, I keep missing out on those Pheonix sessions This time I missed out due to watching this however: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... land_Film/ Just watch it! I've done quite a bit of glider flying, a spot of heli-flying and even taken a joy-ride in an Extra 300L, but never tried microlighting. I used to dream of owning a yellow Piper Cub (and still do), now I also dream of owning a yellow Thruster
Club Members Trevor 25 Posted January 23, 2012 Club Members Share Posted January 23, 2012 I saw that. The microlights are flimsier than most of my models, look like great fun! Sent using TapaTalk
Club Members Bravedan 106 Posted January 24, 2012 Club Members Share Posted January 24, 2012 Did microlites in the early days before it was PPL4 or whatever............then you just pointed it at the hedge and hoped it would clear it. My son's first flight EVER was in a microlite, a parallel wing american made thing with a "proper" tail....it rained.........
