Safety starting an IC engine

Nice. There are also things you can do to make starting an engine easier and safer. For example, a glo wand and battery have no wire, so they are quicker and there is no wire hanging around. a lipo powered starter, again, needs no cord, so it is not going to be chopped off by the prop. The number one rule with starting an engine is

Make sure your hand is well clear of the spinny thing that goes round and round.
