Club Members Peter Royall 47 Posted February 13, 2014 Club Members Share Posted February 13, 2014 Roger has written a short history of the Southern Model Airshow, which now appears on the Website front page, under the heading "SMAS History". Please note that it is not intended to be a "book", with every last detail, it is just a brief history. Please take a look at your convenience, Thankyou, Peter Royall. Club Members Peter Royall 47 Posted February 10, 2017 Author Club Members Share Posted February 10, 2017 Sincere apologies, but the History of the Southern Model Airshow has "dissapeared" from our website. We have no idea why, but we will try to rectify the situation given time. As you may appreciate, the original text took months to collate, and now it has to be done all over again, so we appreciate your patience. Thanks for looking, Peter Royall, Chair. Club Members Martin 0 Posted February 12, 2017 Club Members Share Posted February 12, 2017 I have a backup of the old website CMS database that I took on 28th February last year. I checked, and the SMAS article does appear in the backup. I've managed to extract the article text and HTML formatting, have fixed some punctuation that got broken in the process, and I have this in a file on my computer. I can email it to you or anyone else, but I don't have access to the new website to put it back.

Club Members Peter Royall 47 Posted February 19, 2018 Author Club Members Share Posted February 19, 2018 I have this file now, which I need to make a couple of ammendments and additions to satisfy comments that have been made previously. Oily
