arun 0
I've got a fair number of 3s 2300mAh packs that I currently use in my Wot4 Foam-E. Fancy a bit of variety on my electric flying days so would like to get a second airframe. In an ideal world, I would like an ARTF mid-winger - something like an Extra 260, but in my limited experience these need larger packs. Anyone got any suggestions for a model that would complement the Wot4 well? Cheers Arun

Arun Complement the Wot4 (limited variety then) or contrast it???? Art Tech Alpha Jet takes that cell size and IS variety!!
Administrators Rich 26 Posted April 2, 2012 Administrators Share Posted April 2, 2012 Hiya Arun Not wanting to sound biased or anything, but.... Mid-wing: Multiplex Acromaster Multiplex Funjet Multiplex Funjet ultra Multiplex Razzor (New model, might not be hitting shops just yet) Multiplex Easystar 2 (Sort of mid'ish wing) Multiplex Cularis Multiplex Gemini... (Bi-plane) Multiplex Space scooter (VERY rare kit) Multiplex Sonic liner (VERY rare kit) High wing: Multiplex Mini-mag Multiplex Twin Star 2 Multiplex Funcub Personally, I found the Art-Tech Alpha jet to be pants... Was slow, really poor build quality with poor components and is REALLY small (Sorry dave, maybe I just got unlucky, but it seemed shoddy to me) Mine belly flopped back to earth after the battery ejected itself mid-air (Right way up), and like the fat kid at the swimming pool, landed with a bang! Hey, you could always build a FireFly with a 2200kv in-runner 30A ESC, 6x4 prop and run that on a 3S 2300.. Would go like the clappers too.. Other than that mate, I dunno, no idea what you could get
