Hi everybody, this years Bring And Buy at the Southern Model Airshow is promising to be the best ever so far! The Club is aiming to have a huge Marquee, which will also hold the Bar area. It is planned to be in the same location as last year, but changes around the layout of the Hop Farm itself may require a re-location. It will however, be adequately signposted, and it should be easy to find.

There will be some adjustments to booking in this year, which will require a booking in fee of £1.00 per ticketed item. The normal commission of 10percent on the sale price will then apply as normal.This money goes to Club Funds, the operatives are Club members and Family volunteers, please respect that.

Most importantly, there are no facilities to store sellers property overnight! Items not sold will need to be collected by the latest 4.30pm, and if you still want to sell the goods the following day, they will need to be booked in again with a fresh booking in fee.

These charges will apply to everybody, even if you are a Club Member manning the stall.

So there you go, clear out that loft or shed and bring along that modelling paraphanalia, and maybe take home a few quid as well as enjoying the Show.

Looks like the bring and buy is going to be a bit hectic - in a week, the form to book stuff in to the B&B has been downloaded 50 times from the SMAS site !

 

Interestingly, the terms and conditions have only been downloaded 24 times
