Very nice, love the hold the nose wheel off for ages landings, though all that cockpit work only adds weight, IMO totally wasted effort.

 

From the flying shots of the wing, it either had Aileron slop/flutter or it had gyros fitted, I suspect the latter, anyone know?

they mustve been proper aerospace engineers doing a "look at we can do" advertizing thing to get new business, gotta say, would work a treat i can imagine and what a party piece, gotta say though, pity that there wasnt small explosives in that drop tank, that wouldve been alot better lol

This gives you an idea of how good these guys are when it comes to engineering, from rockets to airplanes, from engineers to normal people.

 

Even in the WWII and obviously cold war were the pioneers.

Shame it gets shadowed by the Americans and all the propaganda they do giving themselves all the credit as usual..
