Garage is too damp and the loft its a weird shape and low sealing for my planes so the only space is the spare room, all planes have to be thoroughly cleaned after each flight, all tanks emptied and all exhaust ports closed. I use dubro fuel valves in all my models it makes life easier. that's not included the unbuild kits kept at a friends house and the foamies hanging in the living room walls.

Jen's 57 good alternative to Irvine 53?

Thanks Arun. -
HI All, It seems that Irvine's 53 are out of stock every where I look ! now I have seen that Jen's 57 is available from just engines, my question is, is there any one that has one or that has used Jen's engines, there seem to be a lot of double thoughts in regards to this engines, some say they are good some say they are bad. I would like to hear your thoughts. Also I have heard that they run badly on 10% nitro and 5% is advised.

Ha Ha very good comparison ... I am with bravedan here I just want to fly I don't really care to save 2 or 300n grams of weight I just stick a bigger engine on, starter motor is cool just flick a switch and away you go, no messing around with starters and that, I will probably start using them and get an on-board glow so I don't have to bother to stick the glow plug neither.. All this is called EVOLUTION and that is the beauty of it.. I can see why people likes to flick them and fiddle with them and retune them and bring it back home and take engines apart and clean and rebuild an

What's your idea of a good club Night??
stalion456 replied to stalion456's topic in General chitchat
I thought also that it would be fun !! rather then having a situation like last night that their was nothing on, I mean I enjoyed it sitting down over a beer and just chat to people I know, but it would have been nice if some sort of activity was in place.. I know that I have just joined and you guys have been trying to spice things up for years and you have probably tried to get more people to be involved and so on and so forth, but maybe new ideas and proposal it's not such a bad thing... Food for thoughts -
What's your idea of a good club Night??
stalion456 replied to stalion456's topic in General chitchat
Is it some kind of secret which people might like what? No secret, but seeing that the response is very poor and so far who I have spoken to seems to be running out of ideas and I have been told that club night are not as popular as they used to be, I wanted to try to get peoples honest opinion on what they like dislike and would like their club night to be, I find that when written on paper and not face to face people can be more adventurous and honest with their answers. Just an Idea. -
