  2. I think an 80 sized 4 stroke would be good, saito is very expensive, I was looking for something a little cheaper.
  3. Hi All, I am looking to fit a 4 stroke engine in my artf acro wot currently running on a thunder tiger 46 pro 2 stroke, the question is what size 4 stroke will go well, what make and why? it would be nice to have enough power to go vertical. Cheers William
  4. And That's how they make them, Sam inst the last big yellow plane yours?
  5. I have maiden my artf acro wot today yes today !! between 3 and 4 pm there was no rain and absolute no wind fantastic to fly, coming from a trainer and having flown the spitfire for the last week I can say that the acro wot its amazing to fly, very precise a very easy and with the right dual rates very very acrobatic, I was worried about the engine size but I have put on a 46 pro thunder tiger engine and it just pulls like a train it took off and went straight up I could not believe it. Landing was a little fast but very easy to land I think think the no wind factor was a part of it.
  6. Hi, how long have you been flying? war birds are extremely difficult to fly, I love warbirs I have a deagostini spitfire a p40 warhawk 71" and p51foam 42" , they are absolutelly hard to fly, the bigger the better the p51 foam is s..t to fly, the deagostini spitfire is unstable and not very precise at all, I would by something like and acro wot to start it flies beautifully and you will enjoy it!! lovebirds look great but they are no fun to fly!! Just my point of view.
  7. I Have contacted Brian witch he let me down, I have called Pete and he could not climb the tree he said the only chance is with spikes and an extra person total cost 100 Squid !! I might try to get is down myself with a sling shooter, a new tutor with servos and engine is 134 pounds from inwoods models so 100 quid for retrieving it it seems a little expensive. I Have been there today after last nights wind and it did come down 4 or 5 feet on to the next branch and it seems is very unstable there, hopefully it come down by it self.
  8. I have contacted Brian the tree climber he said he would have a look in the next few days but lately he has been contacted from other members and turned out a little unreliable.. Gerard used someone new a week or so back he was quiet good but exspensive 70 Squid !! Has anybody got gerards contact details?
