hi david, I picked up the gear which your Dad donated many years ago. From what I remember most of the planes went to various members of the club and the he proceeds went in the club coffers. The majority of the planes were purchased by Gary Broughton who has moved fo Australia maybe Pete Royal has more recollection of whereabouts of Hanno Magic but I suspect they were long ago consigned to the dust bin as Gary went through models with great alacrity Best of luck Peter S

Great video and what a place to fly I was in Austria on hols last year in the Salachtal Salzburg area and model flying is encouraged, the people are very welcoming and will enjoy letting visitors fly.It is a totally different attitude in Germany and Austria to model flying the sites sre nit hidden they even have road signs directing participants ie Model Flugplatz etc .Can you imagine in ghe Uk that happening or being able to fly over very nice property as in the video. When working in Germany I used to visit the local club in Attendorn they had a lovely site, great club hkuse and bar and y

I am lucky mymy eldest daughter is aprofessional make up artist so I usually give her the job.however a few tips I have leafned is making shadows near the nose and eyes kee P the skintones light and put a white dot inthe pupil of the eye surprising what adiffernce it makes. Also I use old leather glkves as a jacket again gives that air of realism, So stick a moustache on early aircraft again aids realism Peter

Trevor,, I tend to use only Zap ca it worksnfor me. So far Ihave had no disasters. Using litho plate to do the cowlings alsk helps plugs uskng a small tank. Have you seen the Feb edition of Flying Scale Models unexpectedly they have featured My Miles Messenger which at quarter scale and weighs in at under 14 pounds sl for a nine foot span is pretty light. Hope you are still flying the P47 Pete .
