I spoke with the designer Chris Foss at the Crawley indoors yesterday, and he was telling me about a new 1/2 size Wot-4 he is working on at the moment. Designed to be also used indoors, the new model is a 1/2 size "woodie" of the original design, and can be also flown outdoors. I can't wait to get one of these TTFn, Oily

Dear all, I am just writing a build review for the Fusion Equaliser EP Pylon Racer. Hopefully, by the time I have written the review for the build, I will have test flown the little devil and be able to report on that too. I bought a charger for model batteries at Old Warden last year, it charges Nicads/Nmph/ Lipos and burgular alarm type batteries, IE all I need. It was brand new and was £35. Also I have seen a video of the test flight of the newly built Mosquito which took place recently. Oily

One third wing chord at the wing centre point from the leading edge would be a good place to start. Maybe a centimeter forward of that to be on the safe side. These models tend to "float on" when landing, just so you are aware Regards, Oily

2016 We are led to understand that the Southern Model Show has now been taken over by Headcorn Aerodrome management and the Maidstome MFC who fly there. It follows that Croydon Airport MFC no longer have any attachment to the Show whatsoever, and have not done so for some considerable time. The BMFA have announced that due to construction works on Barkston Heath Airfield during 2016, the RAF have declined permission to hold the Power Nationals there during 2016 and possibly beyond. Awaiting any further announcements. Peter Royall, Chair.
