The Hi boy was never supplied with plans, just drawings of how it went together. Also there was a Mk1 and a Mk2 design. The mk1 was chunkier in the fuselage, the mainwing being more or less the same with the two designs. And I just sold a 3 channel kit on ebay for £25. Quite easy to convert to 4 channel if you know how. I have just made one in the original light ply, having come into possession of a used wing, and modified the tailfeathers from a Gangster 60. I thought it would be a good model to start training for one of my Grandsons. Luckily, I can probably help with the part pat

Fabulous! Especially with ailerons. I,m on the verge of building another. Can,t wait. Super they are.

Shane, i would imagine, that as the TX overides the stabiliser RX, you would still be considered to be in control, that is, until the RX is out of range of the TX. Under those circumstances, the model would probably be out of sight! And yes, i have witnessed that happen at Croydon Airport in the "good old days". I still want to try one, Oily

If this is the Orange receiver with the gyro stabiliser in it, ME! I have a Ripmax Harmony aerobatic Twin, that may benefit from a gyro stabiliser, for when one motor cuts out, (only a matter of time, and sometimes sooner than later!) I saw one at Old Warden on a stall for about £38 quid, but i guessed they might be cheaper at Hobbyking. By the way, one sold on Ebay on Saturday for about £22!! There is also an add on stabiliser, to fit your 2.4 receiver, about £15. Can't wait to try one. Oily

It was impressive to witness the turnout from the membership at Edenbridge fun day Yesterday. I would like to thank you all personally for coming, and putting on a good display for the people of Edenbridge. At one stage, there must have been 400 spectating at the crowd line, and they were all thoroughly enjoying it. The Fun Day organisers were so delighted with us, we have been invited back for next years fun day. How would you feel about that? Feedback welcome. TTFn, Oily,

Gentlemen and Ladies, Please do your best to attend this display. To add to your enjoyment there is a classic car parade, a Jazz band in the evening, An Alice in Wonderland themed event in the streets, and generally a festival atmosphere. It should be a lot of fun. Bring a picnic and enjoy! The BBC,s ONE SHOW will be at the event, it might be your chance to be on TV? The programme goes out at 6.30 pm. I do hope to see you all later, if you have Club wear, please use it, thankyou. TTFn Oily Edenbridge Fun Day.pdf

a good covering for a maggie is Solartex antique, but your choice, of course. As for the hinges, slice them to remove the moving surfaces, then slide your blade down each side, grip with pliers, and pull them out. Some may resist, so if difficult, sand flush, and refit new hinge position close by. I mostly use hinges with pins, but thats a choice you have to make. I might suggest covering the moving parts while they are detached from the airframe, and fit them afterwards. Have fun, TTFn Oily

Maybe I'll decorate my on coming radio control electric Lanc as "Just Jane" ? I had considered decorating as the Lanc in the Hendon Museum, which holds the record for surviving the most missions during WW2. but I can change my mind, can't I? TTFn
