It will have to wire or carbon fibre Martin, as will be for competition use. Thanks for the offer though

I'm doing a rebuild project which is advancing quite well, but a good Mk3 wot-4 wing would save me building something from scratch, and an undercarriage would help a lot.
If there is anything out there, please get in touch
Thank you,
Oily

thankyou Ben.
The idea for this night is to bring a model to show your fellow members, and maybe ask some questions about your model for advice etc.
There is plenty of room.
Just please don't spill any fuel on the floor!
Have a good time.
TTFn,
Oily

would someone be good enough to let Ben know (or his Dad) that Martin has a free plane for him if he wants it.
Please see post on the forum. If he does not want it, Trev has 2nd dibs

Gentlemen,
Please remember that Flying R/C on Tuesday 18th August has been suspended by the Committee on grounds of safety.
This is due to a mass take off of WW2 Warbirds from Biggin Hill at around noon/1pm..
Most likely there will be various comings and goings during the day, might be worth taking a picnic to view same from the field.
Thankyou,
Chairman.

our new youngster "Ben" is it, has no plane of his own yet. He seems to be quite proficient at flying and would probably be glad of a model of his own.
Just thinking out loud, and ET said he was up for it first! :-

Notice:-
KENLEY'S HARDEST DAY Commemoration Flying Display.
Camfc members have been asked to take part in a model flying demonstration on Kenley Airfield on Sunday 16th August 2015.
Time: 12 noon until 3pm. Flying off runway as per last year.
The event has been organised by the Kenley Airfield Friends Group.
The BBMF will display over the Airfield during the afternoon.
Static Display or Flying, just turn up, and show your membership card.
Mike Williams has said he will be displaying at this event.
Please come if you can,
Chairman.

IMPORTANT!
Please take note:
Due to Spitfire and Hurricane mass flight display taking place at Biggin Hill on Tuesday 18th August 2015, model flying at Fickleshole field is SUSPENDED for the day.
Our field is within the flight path of such displays and it is necessary to take this action for reasons of safety.
It may also be prudent to keep a good lookout during the days leading up to the 18th, as there will probably be practice flights taking place.
Please pass this message on to other members,
(the "hole" may be a good place to observe the mass flight, bring a picnic smile )
Thank you,
Chairman.

Frank Hawke was a co - founder member of CAMFC back in 1977/8, in fact the very person who uttered "we should form a club" which was in order to square things with the Council.
Sadly, Frank passed away on Saturday 30th May 2015.
Personally, I had never met the man, but others have spoken of him highly. I met his son Richard, also a founder member of CAMFC, at the Crawley indoor meeting earlier this year.
To those of you that may wish to be present at Franks funeral, there follows details of the event.
I am requesting to the clubs treasurer that the Club makes a donation in Franks memory.
Details:-
The funeral and celebration of Frank Hawke’s life will take place on Thursday 11th June 2015; all are welcome.
4:30pm service at:
Surrey & Sussex Crematorium
Balcombe Road
Crawley
RH10 3NQ
and from 5:30pm at:

No flowers please; if you would like to make a charity donation in Frank's memory, you can do so at any time until 10 July by sending a cheque, payable to:

Please feel free to forward/broadcast this message as you think appropriate

Martin,
I left a tatty foamy fuz for you with Rod on Sunday.
Its been repaired a few times, but I wondered if you could use it?
I don't want anything for it.
It has a claim to fame as from the "RC model flyer" magazine review model.
That is all,
Oily

replacing the carbon tube without ruining the fus would be next to impossible in my opinion. I have cut up several now, and the carbon tube is well fixed!
If all else fails, a new fus is available from Ripmax for around £30.
Also, it is near Wings and Wheels time, and there is no telling what I shall return with!
The Cynao should work, along with the epoxy for the foam.
Good luck
