#01: The first step towards Croydon Airport Model Flying Club membership:

Before applying to join our model flying club, we insist that you come to our flying field and meet the club, meet some of the committee and have a test flight with a club instructor too, to see if you like model flying and to find out more about our hobby. For existing pilots, we simply want to confirm your flying ability and safety.

#03: The last step towards Croydon Airport Model Flying Club membership:

Once you have completed your online application, it will be reviewed by our committee for approval. Once approved, you should take some time to look over our website, catch up the forum sections, existing info for the current year, newsletters and check out the flying diary.

You will also be given the code for the gate by either our Club Secretary or Treasurer.

When joining the Croydon Airport Model Flying Club:

Prospective members should visit us at the Fickleshole flying field, so that we can find out your aspirations and ensure we can meet them before you join.

We can also answer any questions you may have regarding our Model Flying Club, types of aircraft and what equipment you will need.

Beginners to the sport get training on fixed wing aircraft, but talk to us before buying planes or radios to get the most appropriate equipment.

We are at the field every Sunday from about 10:00hrs to about 15:30hrs weather permitting (the third Sunday every month after 14:00hrs).

Any questions regarding membership please contact the Membership Secretary, Richard Wraith, on 07793 955 370, or email
