Hiya Arun Not wanting to sound biased or anything, but.... Mid-wing: Multiplex Acromaster Multiplex Funjet Multiplex Funjet ultra Multiplex Razzor (New model, might not be hitting shops just yet) Multiplex Easystar 2 (Sort of mid'ish wing) Multiplex Cularis Multiplex Gemini... (Bi-plane) Multiplex Space scooter (VERY rare kit) Multiplex Sonic liner (VERY rare kit) High wing: Multiplex Mini-mag Multiplex Twin Star 2 Multiplex Funcub Personally, I found the Art-Tech Alpha jet to be pants... Was slow, really poor build quality with poor components and is REALLY small (

Cheers Arun, oddly enough, it seems to already have a steady throttle curve by default on all models, for every plane... Throttle seems linear on all models, and always has been on my radio I've got it all fixed now, busted rudder servo replaced, fuse sort of straightened out best as possible and glued back together in about 8 places, but had to put a lot of washers into the motor mount to get it out of extreme left thrust.. Upon refitting the canopy, its now about half an inch too long on the front, so the squashed foam factor is now visible when you put the canopy on... Ready t

Hi Arun Indeed, Dave reckons it may well be torque roll, which I still cant figure how such a big model with a little motor could manage, but I guess anything is possible... Hopefully will have it glued back together to try it Sunday... Will bring a black bag with it too, just in case..

Hey guys Got a big puzzle here with the Multiplex Easyglider Pro... Set it all up, tested EVERYTHNIG, and it all worked perfectly, tested on full power, all fine, range tested it, perfect again, everything doing exactly as it should, but, soon as it was launched, it wanted to roll heavily to the left. Full Right stick stopped it from completely tipping over, so I did a left, left, left and landed it... Tested it all again on the ground, everything working as it should. This is also not a new build, its a used model, previously flown exactly as-is, same motor/esc/prop etc, I chang

So is it simply a case of Gravity vs motor power and pitch with Heli's? I'm still totally new to this heli milarky sparky, so if some guy who can fly better than me said it was due to nuclear sunbursts or UV lighting, or my car stereo was on the wrong station, I'd be wondering if it was true.. It sounds logical enough though, but cant decide if its this mortex vertical thingy or simply gravity vs motor/blade pitch...

So they linked to this thread... and...... (am scratching head wondering why you posted only that link and nothing else?) lol Leon, you have super powers here, cant you merge the 2 threads together?
-
Dammit, I knew that thread was here somewhere, I wanted to just add onto the end of it... Can one of the mods/admins merge them together? I'm not worried about it either to be honest, but mine is on the recall list anyway Bloomin Fecktrum
-
Anybody else with a DX8 got this problem? Just checked mine and found mine does this too! Mine is also on the Spektrum recall list, to which I filled out the recall form and have to send it back to KLMS asap... I was reading about this over @ FPVLab and looks like its the 2.04 software that causes it... If you are programming your radio and this happens, it wipes out everything you have done!

I learn from Gerard, as he is still alive, and has all his own fingers, so boring is great! I use dick....... But only if she asks nicely ha ha ha ha ha a

I've got pro deluxe version but haven't used it since about 2weeks after I got it, will have to fire it up again and see what's new! Hope it doesn't try to charge me for updating it?

I have indeed got it going, I've just finished the faceplate for my ground station which holds a 7" TV screen and 2 x 12v metres, and am awaiting on a new HiTec panning servo from Germany so I can make the top and sides for the Ground-station. The kit going into the model has "Return to home" built in, in case of loss of transmitter signal or you switch off your Tx and the model returns to where it started from automatically. Its slow progress for me, as I'm learning everything as-i-go, while building, and getting kit compatability right seems to be a headache... Buy-it-and-try-it seem

Hi Alan Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, not to do it the "Suckie way", will see what comes up on ebay, maybe a cheaper 10GC with a module in the back, one of the older ones.... Essentially, yes, FPV can get expensive, and if I had to add-up what it has cost so far, with nothing built and ready to fly, it would probably end in divorce lol.. The system I'm using, yes, it will return the model back to the area it started in if I loose signal on the RC gear, or if I switch the Tx off, it remembers the GPS co-ordinates of where it started its journey and will return back to where i
-
Hey Dave Thats one of the reasons I picked a system that can return the model back to where it was launched from if radio signal is lost or TX switched off, for fear of loosing the model, and doing some damage to something, then having to try getting the model back and explaining what happened... That would really suck. The other sucky thing is, having to fly my own model, using a crummy buddy box and not my nice Tx
-
Wow, that looks mental, did you get to fly it?
-
Hiya Peter It means "first person view" Camera in the driving seat, fly by video Have a look on YouTube for "fpv flight" for example and you will see what it looks like
-
Thanks Gerard, but one of the reasons I went with Futaba in the first place was due to being able to use the trainer port for head tracking, which as far as I know, still is not possible with Spek/JR gear, from what I can tell....
-
I know that, you joker, already seen that, I meant knowing where to starting in the "Show and tell" sense...
-
Blimey, I didnt think for a minute anybody would be interested at all... Thought I would wind up being the FPV nut-job that bores everybody with it lol... Hard to know where or what to start with? I'll see what I can put together... I have been reading up on the reg's regarding flying FPV too, and know it "officially" requires a buddy box and spotter, I think, I just dont have a buddy box anymore...

Hey Jim / Gerard Are you meaning tell you here, in this thread, or in some sort of official capacity, like in the newsletter / club night sort of thing? Here is an example of what I'm aiming for: I've exchanged several emails/messages with TimNilson, who has been very helpful Heres an example snippet of what my current kit is capable of in a more messy setup: I was talking to Rob @ Avicraft today about having custom perspex laser cut, but need to make a few prototypes probably from Balsa first, to test fit and measure stuff without wasting laser cutting, especially

Hiya Jim, hope all is well in jimland? I'm about to embark on the start of building my FPV groundstation, and the final components are due to arrive in the next few days/weeks if the US postal service is anything to be believed... I will be documenting the entire procedure too, as its a fairly complicated one, that seems to take a lot of understanding, which I've been reading about for the last 12 months, but wanted to know if I was alone in this venture or if others have any interest in doing FPV flying?
-
Is anybody else here interested in FPV flying at all? I'm about to start the build of my FPV Groundstation, so just wondering if any of you guys have any interest in FPV, or am I the only one?
-
Awww crap, that sucks, or as in this case, didnt suck enough.... Bummer...

Hey Andre Hows this eurofighter coming along?
