Yeah, quite funny really as the typhoon was high alpha and the spit was going flat out, but great display and amazing to but into perspective what we as humans have achieved in the past 70 years! B

Yeah I do know carbon snaps but I have spent my flying days re bending the u/c on the hype so enough is enough... The only thing I am considering is the get nylon bots???? As for the canopy, I've decided not to get it B

Ah I didn't properly think about that, but luckily I haven't ordered it yet... Would you say that I would be better off just getting the u/c? After the cougar I'm wary of signal loss. The rx antennae are situated directly below the canopy... I think my landings are ok for carbon So If I get the carbon canopy then would you say I run a real risk of signal loss? B

Carbon Copy is a great site for bits and bobs for quite a few well known artf's. The mini hype, cougar, wot 4, wots wot, extra wot, acrowot, mini jazz and the eflite apprentice. ah thank you James . Yes it is the wot trainer... I will try dual rates with high being maximum throws. A bit late now as I have written uno wot on the side but oh well! Maiden should be this sunday? B

Yes I'm doing the u/c mod. The nylon nuts are there because I cracked the ply and damaged the foam in the rx bay in an emergency landing as I got a "signal loss" warning. It takes 2 secs to replace the nuts and not a day to fix the fus. Also, can anyone remember how long their bolts were??? B

Hi Everyone, I currently have a 4.8v 1700mah rx pack in my mini hype. I had three flights and checked the battery and it was at 22%. I am now going to get a 2500mah pack, but do I get 4.8v or 6v? I am undecided because I have 4 very big metal geared servos (HS645MG) and wondered if 6v would make them happier and make the pack last longer...??? Thanks, B

Looks interesting. It can also probably surface quicker than manned ones too. On a trip to titanic, it takes something like a day to travel the 9 mile up/down trip..... B
