I have seen this multiple times in copy cat / cheap ext. leads "from new as well" Also I have had this happened to me in the passed as well........It may also happen with very old leads or badly used leads... I have never had the problem with real JR or Futaba leads! "But they do cost way way more"

Phoenix sim price will be going up! To around £100+ soon..... Just a shout out to anyone that has been thinking about buying Phoenix simulator, but has not yet! A lot of shops will still discount it to just under £100.... Atm you can still get it between £70 / £80!

hmmm, maybe just a bad Li-po / ESC from new...but! If I remember right, your ESC had a JST connector on it "Red small thing"! And I have seen in the passed people push them HARD together the wrong way around....But it dose takes some doing, you would know something was wrong from the start of doing it, anyway. I also take it the 3 wire's of the ESC, that go to the motor didn't touch? That would most likely hurt / damage the ESC anyway! It sounds like the Li-Po battery got arc / arced "sp", in some way! Edit :- Make sure your battery and ESC connector

So you plugged the Li-po battery into another radio? Or you plugged the Li-po in the ESC? Or you plugged the Li-po into a receiver? edit :- lol editing as I read it

Looking good Them elastic bands, look like the ones you may not want to use for flying! The big white ones are best! You have likely seen tons of them being used at the field!

Indeed sorry....only found out about the new club meeting place, at club night at kenley aerodrome

It starts around 8pm, some people get there around 7:30pm on wards! Edit :- The club night is held in a small club room / bar on the Kenley airfield! Best way to get there is to head for Kenley areodome and turn into a road called Victor Beamish Avenue ! Keep driving on that, and you should see the club building on your right hand side!

Hello You could always come up the flying field tomorrow! I am sure its are club Fun Fly comp this Sunday! So should be a lot of flyers there! Weather did look bad afew days ago for Sunday! But now looking okish....maybe a little rain and abit windy Edit The free/ pubic site at Croydon Aerodrome, is not what it once was.....due to many things!

There isn't many helo flyer in the club atm! But I am sure, if it just pointer etc etc, then there are people that can help here on the forums or better still at the field! Upgrading your radio gear is the first thing I would do! As others have said! But if you are after a new plane, then what about the Ripmax WOT 4 Foam-E Mk2! Everybody love them.....But you will need a few 3cell Li-Po's and maybe a new battery charger! "just a thought"
