    Yak

It is a YAK, with an engine, some servos and tank, it has red on it and some white. it is operated by a radio that I hold in my hand and it also has some wheels. I think it can fly upside down.............................. Oh I almost forgot, it is a YAK

I agree. That is my opinion, you could aways use one of the hinges from the list in the other thread
  3. This is what I ment by an elbow hinge (as I don' know the proper name) I take this is the Robart barbed hinge finger type, but with the metal pin!

    Dilemma

Hi Peter, You just replied to a post that will be a year old in 3 days I put the OS91 in the Funtana S40 and it is a perfect match, I had to get one of those BCM Pitts style mufflers for it to work properly. The Funtana S40 has always seemed a little large for a 40 size aircraft more a 60 size but even Jims Kantana 40 was sluggish vertically on an OS61FX so the OS91FX seems right at home, Jim can vouch on how well it flys on the OS91FX set-up, it is spinning a 15*6 prop with no big issues on ground clearance.

    Is this a good price?

Why don't you try Hoverfly, he does deals on his kits. Actually Align do kits with Align (Hyper) engines and Align Pipes with the Align Regulators as well as Align blades...................I am just wait for Aligns 2.4Ghz radio system now Give Hoverfly a try and (mention me and Racing Pasison & he may double charge you) Hoverflys contact details

    Is this a good price?

I would go for the sports version over the pro, as the tail belt drive of the sports is more durable and the sports G10 frames are cheaper to replace in a crash.

    Is this a good price?

Basic servos, the 821 is what comes standard with a Spektrum DX-7 kit and a 3001 is a budget servo.

  15. I like your quote, "it should be fast", I can't see you flying slow now. I am presuming it will be a puller, if you want it to flat spin you should design the vertical fin as one big control surface
  16. If you email the picture to [email protected] I will resize and post for you or if you open it and the select save as you can change the format to reduce the size. I would be more than happy to attend.

    My Extra 300

Joe, there was more people up there yesterday than on your fly in.............well almost. But you did miss the chainsaw action of the old tree. Hopes this makes you feel better I think Darren will come back with something bigger and better knowing him.
  18. Well leave your wing and I will fly it on your behalf
  19. The problem with small helis is that they don't handle outside as good as a larger heli. The route I advise people to go into the rotary discipline is 1.Phoenix Simulator 2.Contra rotating heli are good to get used to the controls as they are very stable) 3. ................well it depends where you want to go, if you want to progress into inverted 3D style flying or general sport aerobatics then you want a 50 size heli or maybe a scale is your thing like an Airwolf????
  20. Looks excellent dude, well dome on the welding, whens my go
